Peer Mentor Awards
The mentor awards take place each quarter. Staff, Service users, Peer mentors and Volunteers can nominate peer mentors for an award which will be presented in the peer mentor forum by the operations manager. Peer mentors can be nominated for achievement in any one of the qualities below which make an effective peer mentor and who go the extra mile in their role.

R – Role model
M – Motivation
E – Enthusiasm
N – New ideas
T – Team work
O – Open-minded
R – Responsible
Peer mentors receiving the award will be issued with a certificate, which will be noted in their alternative reference when they complete their placement and they will receive a £10 love to shop voucher.
This quarter the following peer mentors received an award from our operations manager Darren Glynn at the Peer Mentor Forum.
Krupa – For her excellent work in developing peer led breaking free online clinics at the resolution clinic
Dale – Has been an excellent role model supporting our SUI reps to carry out our ‘fit for recovery’ survey across the three boroughs
Richard – Has been delivering presentations at our UCL substance misuse workshops making them truly peer led.
Antonie – Designed and delivers a mindfulness meditation workshop at our recovery hub and having attended it I can thoroughly recommend it!
Jude – Won an award for her fantastic work promoting the service to GP surgeries across the 3 boroughs
Jean – Has played an important part in developing and delivering our new community DAWS project
Ash – Received an award for his professional approach to supporting staff and clients at the resolution clinic.
Maria – Won an award for her commitment and dedication to supporting the service with outreach and attends rough sleeper shifts in Westminster in all weather!
Ken – Joined the team on UCL workshops and has received consistently positive feedback on his contribution to the project
