Recovery Week 2017

During September we held a number of events in conjunction with our service users to celebrate recovery.

On Friday 1 September we kicked off our celebration with our local recovery walk through Leicester City supported by bhangra drummers. At our final destination we held a family picnic.

Monday 4 September there was a celebration event for Dear Albert. in the morning there were speakers. We were supported by  our partners in holding an information event at the same time. In the afternoon everyone was invited to look round Dear Alberts new project The Stairway.

Tuesday 5 September there was showings of the Dear Albert film in Market Harborough.

Wednesday 6 September and Thursday 7 September we held local celebration events in Hinckley and Loughborough showcasing our services and that of our partners. Events included raffles, information stands and general support.

Friday 8 September we finished our local activities with the annual football tournament. Congratulations to Leicestershire County Council who were our winners.

To round of the celebrations on Saturday 9 September we helped to sponsored a coach to take our service users and those from Coventry and Warwickshire to the Annual Recovery Walk in Blackpool.
