We have made accessibility a priority during the development of this site and we will continue to make improvements to ensure it’s as accessible as possible for everyone.

If you have any comments on the accessibility of this site, please email info@turning-point.co.uk or call 0207 481 7600.

This website endeavours to conform to level Double-A of the World Wide Web Consortium W3CWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0.

These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for all people.

Whilst we always try to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. We will however continue to optimise the site for usability.

This website

Some of the accessibility features of this site are listed below:

Change text size – you can change the size of the text by clicking the following button at the top of the screen.

Alternatively, you can use the settings of your browser to change text size. Our website is designed so that the pages can accommodate whichever text size you choose.

Change the colour of the website – the website can be viewed in a different colour in order to make it easy for people with visual impairments and dyslexia. You can choose to switch the colour combination by clicking the circle to the right of the A+ at the top of the screen.

Where possible you should always try and use an up-to-date browser. The standard browsers we recommend are below, with links to each of them.

Once installed, each browser has it’s own options and may allow further options. More information about each browser’s acessibility options can be found here:

Extra help for using web and assistive technology can be found on BBC My Web, My Way. The site has lots of helpful information and videos to demonstrate how you can use accessibility features of your computer.
