Update for IMPACT around Covid-19 Virus

In order to best manage the risks presented by the Covid-19 virus and to protect staff and service users, we will be taking an approach of “Essential Contact only”. This will mean that, where possible, we will be offering support via the telephone and our digital platform. We will be suspending our groups and recovery co-ordination sessions with immediate effect. We will maintain support via telephone and encourage all service users to make use of “My Turning Point” (our online treatment service). If you have an appointment which will be impacted by this then we will be in contact to let you know. If you have any concerns please call your hub, if our phones are busy you can email IMPACTreferrals@turning-point.co.uk and we will answer your queries as soon as possible. For those of you that make use of our Needle Exchange facilities, we would encourage you to keep doing so and to ensure that you have access to clean equipment, as well as Naloxone, at all times. Otherwise, if you do not have a scheduled appointment or require Needle Exchange or Naloxone, we respectfully ask that you do not visit our services in person but instead contact us via telephone, e-mail or our well-being cloud at http://wellbeing.turning-point.co.uk/swindon-and-wiltshire/
