We are now recruiting for the first peer mentor training course at the Recovery & Wellbeing Network!

Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for people who have been free from illicit drug use/ problematic alcohol use for the past three months and who would like to use their experience to provide inspiration, hope and support others in their recovery.
What does it involve?
Training consists of eight one day modules delivered over the course of two months. Upon successful completion of this learners will be awarded a level 1 qualification along with the opportunity for a 6 month placement at the Recovery & Wellbeing Network with Turning Point \ Blenheim \ CGL Alcohol Service.
Peer mentors can access further in house training and ETE support with the service to explore ongoing development and opportunities.

The closing date for applications will be Wednesday 4 May with interviews taking place shortly after.
The training will be on Tuesdays and will commence on 17 May then each Tuesday for the following 7 weeks.
