Peer-mentors for DAWS completed their training and officially graduated at Kensington Gardens.
The ceremony took place on a crisp, sunny day at Kensington Palace, a suitably special venue to celebrate the contributions that Peer Mentors make to the DAWS service. Peer Mentors provide a positive role model in the recovery community, who use their own experience of treatment and recovery to inspire, motivate and support individuals to become substance free. The graduating peer mentors were awarded a level two in peer-mentoring.
DAWS offers substance misuse services within three London boroughs: the City of Westminster, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Well done to all the graduates!
