People who are struggling with their sexuality, or have chosen to adopt a specific sexual profile (from gay, lesbian or bi, through intersex to genderqueer or gender fluid) can often find themselves using alcohol or drugs at a level which is impacting on their physical and emotional health. Their drug use can also end up damaging their relationships with those that they love. This includes sexual partners, family, friends and work colleagues – not to mention their own self-esteem and self-respect.
Turning Point celebrate and support equality and diversity throughout the county; we can help with any aspect of your drug and alcohol use that you feel is linked to your sexual identity and has become an issue for you in everyday life.
We don’t discriminate. Neither do drugs and alcohol. Whether it’s issues with chemsex that are affecting your mental health and spiraling out of control, alcohol use that is fueling domestic violence or steroid use which has led to injecting issues, we can provide advice and support to get you back on track and leading the life you love safely and healthily.
