About Us

Welcome to the Wakefield Wellbeing Cloud.

This site is dedicated to promoting wellbeing and recovery from addiction when you feel ready to take those steps. The service operates from three main hubs – Wakefield city centre, and Castleford, as well as having satellite sites across the district.

We work with over 4000 service users including brief interventions and structured treatment.

We offer access to substitute prescribing, detoxification as well as other related health advice for drug and alcohol users.

With individually tailored support packages, we meet the needs of service users and include 1-2-1 work, MOPSI group work (Models of Psychosocial Interventions), Mindfulness interventions and help with physical and mental health needs.

We have an in-house Midwife, Specialist Social Worker and Health Visitor for those in need of extra support and we have robust care pathways with specialist dual diagnosis interventions.

Support in the South of the district

We are no longer using the South Kirkby hub to deliver services in the South of the district. From 03/04/18 we will be operating from four satellite sites across the South of the district.  If you need to speak to a worker, arrange an appointment  or to make a referral please contact the office on 0300 123 1912

The nearest needle exchange is at the Tesco’s Pharmacy in Hemsworth.

We are currently providing limited face to face support as a result of COVID-19; however treatment is still available. Find out the latest update on how the service is operating and please phone your local hub if you need assistance.
